Invited Meet participants are not required to have an "@depauw.edu" or other "@gmail.com" email address to join a Google Meet, so it makes it easy to set up meetings or conferences with people who are from both on and off campus.In addition to simple video and audio-conferencing, some other features of Google Meet include:

Fundamentally, no. There are just two key differences: In DePauw's instance of Meet, participants are capped at 50 and it doesn't offer recording capability. So if your typical online meetings have less than 50 people and you don't need to record them, you can drop your subscription to any fee-based tools and simply use Meet for free.
