Big News from Printing Services

Contributed by Carol L. Smith, CIO

Starting on July 1, we have made arrangements with Gordon Flesch Company (GFC) to manage DePauw’s Printing Services Center and provide our ongoing campus printshop.

After the transition on July 1, Printing Services will remain in its current location in the Union Building for ongoing easy access for students and employees, Heather Phillips will continue in her role there, and the current price list for onsite services will stay the same to ensure affordable prices for campus members. In addition, GFC has equipment at its Terre Haute production center for some larger or more-specialized jobs, offering enhanced services over what DePauw can currently provide onsite.

Having an onsite Printing Services is a useful resource for DePauw and we’re excited about this new arrangement with GFC to provide these flexibility and customized services to the campus community. Further, the GFC team, formerly IBE (Indiana Business Equipment), has been a long-time DePauw partner in providing the print equipment for Printing Services and our campus-wide Canon printer/copier fleet, so we’re confident that the Print Center will be in good hands.

Watch for more information to come later in the summer. In the meantime, if you have any questions feel free to contact Carol Smith or Heather Phillips (heatherphillips@depauw.edu).
