"Upgrade Your Webmail Account" Phishing Scam Hitting Campus. Do not click on attachment. #AnnounceIT

Information Services (I.S.) has received several reports of spam with a subject of "Upgrade Your Webmail Account" that has a link in it asking you to confirm your account. This is a malicious phishing scam --- Please do not click on the link.

Please select the email(s) in your mailbox, then click Report spam to remove it from your account and to report it to Google. 

We further recommend you change your Google Apps Account password immediately. Please go to the Change password: Google Apps Account (email) article on the IT KnowledgeBase for step-by-step instructions.
