Email Phishing Scam Alert - DO NOT CLICK ON LINK - #AnnounceIT

Information Services (I.S.) has received several reports of spam with a subject of "Review Your DePauw University Information" hitting campus in which the recipient is asked to click a link "to verify your account to keep it activated". This is a malicious phishing scam -- Please do not click on the link.

If you clicked on the link in the phishing email, we highly recommend you run a virus scan immediately. Please go to the Healthy Computing article on IT KnowledgeBase to learn how you can download and run Symantec Endpoint Protection on your computer.

If you entered your username and password, we highly recommend you change your Google Apps Account password immediately. Please go to the Change password: Google Apps Account (email) article on the IT KnowledgeBase for step-by-step instructions.
