To
provide the best possible technology services, Information Services
(I.S.) must regularly update and perform routine maintenance on its
systems and networks. While this work is essential, we also recognize
that it may present an inconvenience to the campus community.
To minimize any potential impact, a six-hour window from 6 a.m. to noon every 3rd Sunday of each month
has been reserved for planned maintenance. During this time, technology
services may be intermittently unavailable. This time will not be used
if not needed. In addition, unplanned maintenance will be performed as
necessary to restore vital systems that are not performing properly.
Advance
notification of service disruptions or downtime will be communicated to
campus through tech-notice emails from the HelpDesk as early as possible. If you foresee any issues with planned
maintenance, please contact the HelpDesk (HelpDesk@depauw.edu or
765-658-4294) with your concern as adjustments can sometimes be made to
accommodate scheduling conflicts.
