2 Email Virus Alerts. DO NOT CLICK LINKS. #AnnounceIT

Information Services (I.S.) has received several reports of 2 email viruses hitting campus.
  • One virus has a subject of "Webmail Administrator". Note: You do not need to upgrade so do not click the links.
  • The other virus has a subject of "Google docs." The message contains an orange banner with two links. Do not click the links.
If you clicked any of the links in either email, we highly recommend you run a virus scan immediately. Please go to the Healthy Computing article on IT KnowledgeBase to learn how you can download and run Symantec Endpoint Protection on your computer.

, we also highly recommend you change your Google Apps Account password immediately as a precaution. Please go to the Change password: Google Apps Account (email) article on the IT KnowledgeBase for step-by-step instructions.
